Maintenance Department and Procedures
Residents may request a work order and are required to report immediately any work that affects resident health and safety and any damages to the apartment. A maintenance charge will be assessed for all work and damages that are beyond normal wear and tear. Residents are encouraged to call in any concerns so that maintenance can assess and address any issues to prevent further damage.
Maintenance hours are 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
To submit a work order:
During regular business hours (8:00am – 4:30pm) - call Freeport Housing Authority at 815-232-4171, then push # (pound button)
Holidays and non-business hours – call the Freeport Housing Authority at 815-232-4171. The answering service will dispatch maintenance as needed for emergency only maintenance needs.
