RFP#13-0329  Request for Proposals for Lighting and Furnace Replacement - part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4, part 5  and Addendum 1, Addendum 2, Addendum 3

DUE APRIL 12, 2013

The Housing Authority of the City of Freeport [HACF] will receive three separate proposals for the following 1. Supplier of lighting fixtures and lamps 2. Installer of lighting fixtures and lamps 3. General Contractor for furnace and air conditioning combination units and electrical upgrades.  Projects must be invoiced by May 13, 2013 and completed no later than May 31, 2013.  A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held Friday, April 5, 2013 at 10:00 am at the Parkside Monroe Center, 714 E. Orin St., Freeport, Illinois.   There will be an opportunity to see a unit at this time.  Direct all inquiries t o Tom Cassidy at 815-232-4171 ext 1061.  A proposal packet is available to any company or individual wishing to participate and can be obtained by visiting www.freeporthousing.org under the Vendor tab, emailing bwestfall@hacf.us or at the HACF office, 1052 W Galena Avenue, Freeport, Illinois.  Proposals will be received until 3:00 pm local time on Friday, April 19, 2013 at the HACF, located at 1052 W Galena Avenue, Freeport, Illinois.  Proposals received must be enclosed in a sealed envelope and clearly marked: HACF RFP#13- 0329.  At that time and place, all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the bid opening meeting.
